Those are no lesbian mermaids!
You see 2 alien submarine creatures doing a ritual dance, of course. That image was originally done for educational purposes using mixed tools to speed up the work flow. The base for the fin parts and the BG elements were done in 3d and painted over. my Girlfriends stood model for the rough visualization. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
