There is no handbook for life and love nor should there be one.
Everyone wanders through life using their own paradigm as a map, formed by their own personal values, believes, moral pillars, cultural influences, education, religions, hopes and dreams.
We all are to some degree reflecting the society as we are part of it, we are all partially modeled by certain, general expectations of those who surround us in our lives.
It starts with little things, details. We care what others might think or say about us and we are equally happy about nice compliments from complete strangers as we are offended by gossip of those we don't even know.
It is not always a bad thing, as every stick has two ends but it is important to maintain your own opinion and stay true to your own ideals, even if they sometimes go against the norm.
We all are not that different, we all share, many hopes, dreams and desires.
Some may not accept you, some may gossip because of their own insecurities or jealousy but others will accept you because no matter how bad the general society may seem at times, there are always people who will understand and embrace you, the true you.
Love is a beautiful gift not everyone is fortunate enough to find in their life, it is not something to be ashamed of, it should be worn with pride and cultivated as love is the brightest light we humans have, a light that can inspire, warm and nourish both mind and body.
Live your life without regrets, learn from your mistakes but don't be scared to let the light inside your life even if it may raise an eyebrow or two.
Some may not understand as they are unwilling to leave their comfort zone and think outside the box, but the horizon is limitless.
Trust your heart.
